“I was raised in Imlay City and still choose to call it home today”
I think I will always be a small-town girl. My husband and I renovated our first home in Lapeer literally from top to bottom. It was absolutely necessary since it was built in the 70s and just about everything . . . including the kitchen sink (I’m not kidding) was avocado green. Green is my favorite color but that was even a bit too much for me!
Over the years we bought and sold two more homes in Imlay City. Recently, we purchased a few acres of land in Goodland Township and had a custom home built. That was so enjoyable to see our plan come to life from the ground up.
I’ve come to love everything to do with the housing market. To be honest, I’m a little bit obsessed with it. I continue to get notifications on my phone of what’s newly listed for sale or recently sold. I’m not sure why I need to know this since my husband says, to quote, “Jen, we are never selling this house.” LOL
Since I can’t sell my own home, I guess I need to sell yours!
